Chase Automotive has been on Strickland Ave in Mill Basin for over three decades. Cars have changed a lot in that time. How we treat the people who drive them hasn't.
Our story
A trusted name in Brooklyn auto body since 1990.
We opened as a family business and we've stayed one. Over 35 years later the same family still runs the floor — and Shane, the owner, is still the person most customers end up talking to.
That's not a marketing line, it's just how the shop works. There's no service advisor reading you a script, no call center, no handing your car to a subcontractor across town. You talk to the person responsible for the repair, and that person looks at your car before it leaves.
The work itself is what you'd expect from a shop that has to live with its reputation in a neighbourhood this tight-knit: collision repair, paint matching, dent removal and detailing, done with current equipment and materials. People here have been bringing us cars for twenty years and now send their kids. We'd like to keep it that way.

Structural repairs are measured and done to spec. A car that isn't straight isn't safe, no matter how it looks.
Straight answers
If a repair isn't worth doing, we'll say so. If a cheaper route works, we'll tell you about it.
You stay in the loop
Updates as the car moves through the shop. You shouldn't have to chase us for news about your own vehicle.
Backed for life
A lifetime warranty on our workmanship. If something we did isn't right, bring it back.
The insurance part
It's your car, and it's your choice of shop.
Insurers will steer you toward a shop on their list. In New York State you are not obliged to use it. You pick who repairs your car.
